Production Monitoring System

Smart Monitor is a unique Micro Controller Based System, designed to generate on-line production related MIS reports, independent of operator or supervisor.

The unit can be hooked on any machine or process and with the help of external transducers, data can be acquired and reports can either be viewed on the display panel or can be serially transmitted to PC for further analysis.

Smart Monitor is compatible to take signals from Optical Encoders, Proximity Switches, and Photocells etc. It indicates Machine Speed, Production, Elapsed Process Time, Idle Time, Process Slow Down, Efficiency and Number of Stoppages.

Smart View - Man Machine Interface

Smart View is a low cost, high features man machine interface for PLC. Smart View - 9701 with 24 Keys, 4 Lines By 20 Characters LCD Display & Printer Interface, which Accesses Internal Relays, Data Registers, Input/Output Status through Serial Interface. User can configure the messages for operator interaction, which includes Numeric Data, Text Messages, Alarm Display, and Login Messages with Date & Time Stamping. Eight dedicated Function Keys (F0 - F7), for user-defined functions,

can serve the purpose of normal external push buttons or actuators. Parallel printer interface enables printouts of Error Messages & Periodical (Pre-Defined) Data Logging.

Smart Alarm - Alarm Annunciator

Smart Alarm is a Microcontroller based system designed to provide Alarm Indications along with Relay Output. The units are available in configuration of 8, 12 and 16 windows with cascading facilities.

The Unit can work with 24 VDC Input or 230 VAC Input. Standard Units for DG Set and AMF Unit are also available. The units can take input either through serial port or through external potential free contacts.
The Micro-controller based Annunciation System has Optically Isolated Inputs.

It has user programmable NO/NC fault contact configuration and has a facility for first fault discrimination. Maintenance free super bright LEDs (6 Nos. Per Window) ensure better viewing. Optional features like serial interface for Alarm Logging, PLC Interface through Serial Port, Relay Outputs for Control Action, Customized Operating Sequences, Membrane Key Pad on front facia, Delayed Controlled Functions can also be provided.

Smart AMF - AMF Unit for DG Sets

A Micro Controller based AMF Unit for DG set is primarily designed for automatic change over to generator, in event of failure of main supply. The unit constantly monitors Line Voltage from mains VSR (Voltage Sensing Relay). Whenever the main supply fails the unit will automatically give pulse output signal and three attempts with predefined time delays will be made for cranking the engine. The engine will start and voltage will be available from the DG Set.

As soon as DG VSR input is available, pulse output for cranking will be disabled. If all the three attempts fail the message “Fail to Start" with alarm will be annunciated.

In addition to the above the signal will be available for switching on or off either mains or DG set. Various fault conditions like Alarm, LOP, High Water Temperature, Over Speed, Over Load, Low Fuel Level etc. will be annunciated. Any control panel manufacturer or user can built a complete AMF Panel using this unit along with Voltage Sensing Relays and Electrically Operated Breaker or Contactor for Load on Mains or DG set. This will eliminate complicated circuits using relays and timer logics and also save considerable time for wiring.

Recipe Indicator Unit

The Microcontroller based Recipe Indicator Unit has been designed to configure the recipe data from central computer through serial port Multidrop System. The unit has facility to punch in the product identification number through membrane keypad and the recipe information will be displayed on 8 lines 20 characters LCD display. Several such units can be placed throughout The Plant.

Smart Processor - Multizone Stretch/Shrinkage Indicator/Controller

This is 8088 Microprocessor Based Indicator Cum Controller to Measure, Record & Control Stretch and/or Shrinkage for Yarn, Fabric, Tyrecord etc. The unit takes pulses from optical encoders mounted on various material driven rollers & computes stretch or shrinkage as the case may be. The unit also displays speed and meterage of the material at various points where encoders are mounted.

It also displays overall stretch. The system is quite accurate & capable of indicating stretch/shrinkage values up to 2 decimal points. It has analogue output for controlling and recording the stretch/shrinkage. It can be hooked up to a strip chart recorder or can be interfaced with AC/DC drives to maintain preset stretch & shrinkage. It has LED or 4 line 20 characters Alphanumeric LCD display & keypad. Additional production monitoring facilities are available as an option. The system has been satisfactorily working in leading companies in textile and tyre industries.

Bipolar Stepper Driver

The SD2A Translator/Drive is a Bipolar, Adjustable Speed and Two-Phase PWM DRIVE, which uses Hybrid Power Devices. It can be set to operate a step motor in Full Step or Half Step. The maximum running speed is 3,000 rpm. To reduce the chances of electrical noise problems, the control signals are optically isolated from the drive circuit. Switch selectable current levels of 0.5 through 2 Amperes. Surge Suppressors & Regulators inbuilt.

DC Drive


Variable Speed D.C. Drives up to 220 KW capacity. The drives are available in single & three phase versions for half & full control up to 220 KW/300 HP. They have supplied drives for single & multi motor synchronization application tailored to customer's needs. They also undertake electromechanical jobs to replace old PIV & hydraulic drives on indigenous & imported machines.

The drive modules are readily available up to 5 HP for 220 VDC motors. These have start stop facility, soft start built in electronic field failure overload & over temperature protections with LED indications. Armature voltage / Tacho feedback provision. They are also available up to 300 HP for 440 V DC motors.
