This unit is made of
2500 mm long lead screw with linear guides on which
the granulator weighing approx. 400 kg. is moved in
Horizontal Direction. This sprays the material on continuously
moving conveyor of band dryer.
Principle
The objective is to achieve
uniform spraying of paint / powder on moving objects by precise
& smooth forward & reverse movement of guns (stroke)
at various speeds. Horizontal reciprocators for Mirror Coating
(Link) Applications have been supplied for various coating
process.
Construction & Operation
The spraying guns are mounted
on an arm extended from a carriage. It is programmed to move
in required stroke lengths & speeds depending upon object
& conveyor speed. The carriage is moved forward &
reverse on suitable guides through ball lead screw or timer
belt driven by a geared motor. The frame supporting the carriage
& its structure are made sturdy. The wheel castors are
provided at bottom to facilitate the easy movement of reciprocator
whenever required. The movement is controlled by latest digital
AC frequency drive & microprocessor based controller to
achieve desired stroke & speed. The keypad enables you
to punch in user-friendly parameters like stroke length &
speed & status can be viewed on 2-line backlit LCD display.

Forward / Backward status of carriage.
Time elapsed in Hrs. Min. Sec.
The additional auto / manual change over feature has been incorporated to enable Un-Interrupted running of the system.
