X Drive Carriage For Coolant Channel Inspection System

The system comprises of 6.5 meters X - Axis Structure used for moving a Carriage carrying 1.5 Tons Load at a Linear Speed of 5 m/min. The Inspection System is mounted on the carriage. The positioning accuracy is 0.5 mm and the repeatability is 0.025 mm.

LM Guide Rails are employed for smooth movements of carriage. Precision rack with integral LM guide and pinion is employed for driving the carriage. Servomotor and Servo drive is employed for controlling precise position of carriage. The speed and position of the carriage are controlled and monitored by a remote PC.


Precision X-Y Laser Scanner For Image Plate Scanning


  • The X-Y Scanner is used to scan image plates of size 250 mm x 200 mm

Electromechanical Mobile Telescopic Aerial Lift

This is used for Radiographic inspection of Aircraft's wing, tail, body and other parts. The system is mounted on a mobile trolley with four wheels, two numbers swivel type and two numbers fixed type. The trolley can be pulled/pushed by suitable mobile vehicle to desired location (on tarmac), where inspection has to be carried out.

The system is telescopic type comprising of three sections, which are vertically lifted simultaneously. The first section is a fixed unit on which the second unit is moved up and down by suitable guiding and driving arrangement.

The third section as well as the mounting platform is raised by means of fixed length wire ropes passing through fixed and rotating pulleys.The overall size of the unit in stowed condition is 3 meters and in the open condition is 10 meters.

A platform with mounting stand has been provided to mount X-ray tube. The X-ray tube platform can be adjusted from minimum 1 meter to maximum 10 meters. Variable speed DC Motor and Drive have been employed for running the equipment at various speeds. The tube-mounting stand has been provided with rotary and swivel arrangement to orient the X-ray tube in the desired position.

This unit can be generalized for carrying different type of equipment's or persons to desired heights as per user requirements.


On-Line Thickness Inspection System for TV Glass Tube

The system is used for online thickness inspection of TV Glass Tubes. Randomly coming glass tubes of different widths (14”, 17”, 19” & 21”) are centered within ± 1 mm of the center line of the conveyor with the help of soft belts mounted on two reverse nuts driven by a common screw, to accommodate all sizes. The centered glass tubes are guided just below the probe head to enable effective measurement of thickness for 40-mm length. Pneumatically operated paint marking system actuates paint stick only on receipt of fault signal to mark defective tube.


Vertical Carriage For Chamber

This equipment is used for raising an atmospheric chamber of 1200 mm x 1200 mm x 1500 mm weighing about 700 kg. The chamber or lifting load is placed on a trolley, which is moved up and down, in the vertical direction by a lifting screw driven by a chain drive. The system is designed for vertical movements of 1000 mm. Cam Followers have been used for taking care of cantilever load of the platform radially. The system can be customized for various similar applications.


X-Y Table

X-Y tables for precision linear position and movement systems. They are available in different stoke lengths and speeds. The movements are achieved by precision ball lead screws & linear slides coupled with stepper / servo motors and drives. The speed and position feedback are available through necessary transducers. They are precisely machined and skillfully assembled to maintain required parallelism, straightness and flatness.

The design ensures fairly good life of components through life cycle calcultations. The other driving arrangements like rack & pinion, timer belt and pulley etc are also offered.

They are designed to take care of various loads and forces for different applications. The systems are also available in multi axis (upto 5 o 6) linear or rotary axis.
